What a fantastic year of fun and fundraising 2015/16 was! Thanks to your very generous donations and the support of the local businesses listed below, we raised £25,000. This has funded some really special enrichment activities for your children and the purchase of some fantastic new equipment for the school.
Thank you to everyone that supported our events and activities over the school year. Aside from fundraising, the parent socials are a great opportunity for us to get together informally and help build a sense of school community. The children love, love, loved the Christmas Mini Market and the Leap For Learning ‘bounce-athon’, both of which created a buzz of excitement around the school.
Two highlights of the parents’ social calendar last year were the Wonderland Ball and the Summer Fete and particular thanks should go to everyone who helped make them such a success. The Ball would not have been the same without the wonderful Mad Hatter centre pieces created by your children and we are hugely grateful to Badger dad, Kev Reape and his brilliant band, Mars Shall Rock for getting us all on the dance floor. We were blessed with a lovely sunny afternoon for the Summer Fete and whether you donated lucky jars, bought raffle tickets, put up gazebos, manned a stall, baked a cake or came along for a fun day out, you all helped make it a terrific afternoon.
